Aces First Half Report Card: Forwards, Part 2

Chris Holmes- Possessing one of the league’s best slapshots, Holmes was the team’s first forward called up the ECHL this season and for good reason. Steady all season long, Holmes has silently carved out a more than solid season for himself, averaging more than point a game. He’s also been one of the only players on the team that hasn’t gone through some type of slump this season, proving the polish and skill in his overall game. A personal pick to play in the AHL over the next season or two.

Grade-  A

Jesse Felten- Easily one of the fastest players in the league, Felten has started to come around after getting out of a nasty slump. Now averaging over a point a game, Felten is showing the rest of the league what he is truly capable of offensively. However, the best thing about Felten may be his all-around ability. Physical and a force in his own end, Felten’s ability to kill penalties and be responsible defensively make him one of the best all-around players in the league.
